This weekend there was so much going on and in the midst of all the hustle and bustle made me realize also how EXTREMELY happy I am that I’ve had lasik. I was in North Carolina for a wedding and it was a crazy busy weekend! I had to wake up at 4am on Friday to catch a flight. I did not have to worry about trying to put in contacts that AM and thank goodness for that because we were up late packing and doing laundry so that would of never happened. Got a little shut eye on the flight but it’s kind of hard for me to sleep on some airplanes due to comfort level… Friday night was the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner so I had to be on my A game for all that! I was hoping to get to bed early for the wedding the next day but of course that did not happen. I was again so glad that I did not have to worry about taking my contacts out that night after another long day! Lasik is great! Then I was up again for another long day - the wedding day! Had to be ready to go for the bridal luncheon at 10:30am! After that I made my way to the pool for a little R&R for the one hour that there was not something scheduled for me to do. 
After that it was back to the hotel to get ready for 4pm pictures with the bride! Made it to the church by 4pm… wedding at 6pm… pictures after…. then the reception at 7:15pm… waved farewell to my good friend at 11pm and went out for more fun in Charlotte after….
What a long weekend! She looked gorgeous though and was a beautiful bride! I am so glad that I got to be a part of it and share in her big day. Weddings always make me cry! (Another great thing about laisk- I don’t have to worry about losing a contact!)
