Water/Beach Vacations Before Lasik
I can’t wait to finally being able to swim or play in the waves at the beach and not worry about losing a contact or not being able to see at all! The water will be much more appealing to me now instead of always sunbathing on the beach!!! Snorkeling and scuba diving here I come…..

I was thinking about it last night and for everyone that has good vision when they open their eyes in the morning they can automatically see the world. They can see their alarm clock, see their significant other sound asleep next to them, see all their surroundings! This is something that people (like myself!) have never gotten to experience due to our bad vision. We have to have our contacts in to see our surroundings and since most people don’t sleep in their contacts we miss out on all this. We really do take our vision for granted. I just look forward to being able to see everything around me when I open my eyes, but think about seeing sunsets, sunrises…a new son or daughter, a smile on someones face. We have to have our “vision” to see all this and with lasik I will be able to see all of these things on my own, without the help of glasses or contacts! We rely so much on our vision for nonverbal communication. Just got me thinking how much I actually rely on my eyes and how it would be a completely different experience without my vision. I guess as my lasik procedure is getting nearer I’m getting more sentimental…who knows!
